How the dose works
A 40-unit Botox treatment is measured to address two facial areas of your choice, placing measured units into specific muscles responsible for dynamic lines. The goal is to reduce excessive muscle contraction that deepens creases; placement and unit distribution are selected to soften lines while preserving natural facial movement. Many clients report visible changes developing over several days to two weeks.
Because this dosage covers multiple zones—commonly the forehead plus the eleven lines between the brows—decisions about where to place units are a trade-off between coverage and balance. Concentrating units on deeper lines gives stronger softening in those areas while still allowing expression elsewhere. Your provider will discuss priorities so the dose supports a balanced, proportionate result.
Treatment experience and timing
Most 40-unit appointments at Vybe Aesthetics fit into a 20 MINUTES visit that includes a brief consultation, marking, and injections. There is typically no formal downtime, and clients usually return to normal activities immediately. Some clients describe treatments as gentle and barely noticeable; others have reported more sensitivity. Final appearance can continue to settle for up to two weeks after injection.
Scheduling demand peaks in May, June, November, and December as people prepare for summer events and winter holidays. Our Preston Village location in West Plano is convenient for clients commuting along Preston Road, State Highway 121, and the Dallas North Tollway, making lunchtime or after-work bookings practical for busy professionals and parents balancing errands, shopping, or work.
Choosing treated areas
Selecting the two areas for your 40-unit treatment depends on which lines bother you most and how muscle activity patterns interact across the face. Common combinations include forehead plus the eleven lines between the brows; other pairings address crow’s feet or lower facial movement. Your injector will map muscle activity during expression to determine where units will have the most balanced effect.
Results are shaped by individual anatomy, previous injectable history, and muscle strength. Many clients return every 3–4 months for maintenance, though some report results lasting longer—several clients have noted effects lasting around 5–6 months. During your consultation we’ll review expectations, maintenance planning, and whether combining services in one visit makes sense for your goals.
